EU-Taiwan Industrial Dialogue

In June of 2017, the European Commission, Bureau of Foreign Trade, Department of Industrial Technology, and Industrial Technology Research Institute collaborated to hold an event in Brussels, Belgium to facilitate cooperation between Europe and Taiwan.

The event sought to enhance links between European companies and businesses by discovering common interests. Members of the Taiwanese government gave presentations which detailed the current landscape of the circular economy and waste management in Taiwan.

Shadow Chen, the deputy CEO of TCEN, participated in the event, giving a lecture which introduced the current landscape of the circular economy in Taiwan. She also spoke in the Industrial Seminar portion of the event, discussing circular design concepts.
